3. That Terrible CGI Golem - Warcraft

It's a Duncan Jones-directed video game movie. How bad could it be, right?

Though the majority of Warcraft's CGI characters are much more expressive and convincing than the wooden human ones, there's one undeniably horrendous visual effects gaffe in the movie's third act, when Anduin (Travis Fimmel) faces off against a stone golem brought to life by Medivh (Ben Foster).

In a $160 million dollar movie, this bargain basement animation is the best they could come up with, apparently. It not only looks laughably bad but the scene drags on for ages and is intercut between visually stunning scenes of Orc combat, which just draws further attention to it.

Even if you like the movie, this scene is worth fast-forwarding through because it's just painfully low-fi.
