4. The Lame, Predictable Ending - Blair Witch

If you somehow needed any more confirmation that Blair Witch was basically a remake disguising itself as a loose sequel, the third act ended up blatantly recycling the climax of the original 1999 movie, as the survivors ventured towards Rustin Parr's cabin in pursuit of the first film's protagonist, Heather (Heather Donahue).

Just as in the film film, the youngsters are of course met by the Blair Witch, the main difference being that the Witch is actually briefly shown in the new movie. Ultimately, Lisa (Callie Hernandez) finds Heather's brother James (James Allen McCune) standing in the corner of a room just as Mike (Michael C. Williams) did in the original, and she's attacked moments later, dropping the camera to the ground just as Heather did in the first film.

It's cheap, it's lazy and isn't at all what people signed up for when they bought their ticket. After almost two decades of waiting for a legit sequel, didn't fans deserve better?
