6. A Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Is Coming In 2018

You might (or might not) remember last year that Sony acquired the rights to a live-action/animation hybrid of Sonic The Hedgehog, and this week the studio announced that the film will be landing in 2018. Granted it's hard to be too excited about the film considering the track record of both hybrid movies of this type and video game adaptations as a whole, so we'll put this in the "morbid curiosity" pile for now.
