4. Ready Player One Has Been Delayed To 2018

Young adult sci-fi novel Ready Player One was originally set for a December 15, 2017 release date, but with the recent announcement of Star Wars Episode VIII being delayed to that very same day, Warner Bros. rather smartly decided to delay the Steven Spielberg-directed project back to March 30, 2018. Considering the tricky process of adapting a novel so rife with dense video game references, having a little extra time to get it right can't be a bad thing, and let's face it, there's no shame in blinking when you're squaring off against Luke freaking Skywalker.
