12 Movie Spoilers We Didn’t Know Last Week (April 25th)
Ant-Man vs. Iron Man is as awesome as it sounds.
The time is pretty much here: this is the final spoilers article before Captain America: Civil War's release...unless you live in the U.S. of course. But don't worry, we won't be dropping any significant spoilers from that movie until it's released stateside.
Anyway, this week saw some extra glimpses at Civil War as Marvel conducted their final marketing push, while DC also went on the offensive as Justice League Part One recently began shooting, and Bryan Singer reminded us that, yes, there is in fact an X-Men movie coming out in a few short weeks.
We also had big updates on two nostalgia-driven big-screen reboots of classic TV series, and hints at what the further future of comic book cinema holds.
Here are 12 movie spoilers we didn't know last week...
12. Pepper Potts Isn't In Captain America: Civil War After All
Though it was originally believed that Gwyneth Paltrow's Pepper Potts wouldn't be appearing in Captain America: Civil War, it was reported earlier in the year that she was made a part of the movie's re-shoots, likely showing up in a brief cameo just to remind us that she is indeed in Tony Stark's life.
Well, now that Civil War has been screening for quite some time and embargoes are all done with, it's emerged that Pepper does not appear in the movie in any way, shape or form, instead being pawned off with a line of dialogue about herself and Tony going their separate ways due to his difficult personality.
This is pretty surprising considering that their relationship is one of the few successful ones in the MCU that didn't seem hilariously forced. Perhaps Pepper might return in Infinity War or something, but it's not exactly looking good...
