God bless Oskar Schindler. He risked his own life to save as many others as he could and this film is a very emotional tribute to his person, his work and to all of those who lost their lives. Spielberg's epic tale feels like one of the most accurate depictions of life in a concentration camp ever committed to film. But rather than sensationalise it, the director merely invited his audience to remember and to feel, and the success of the film comes in the emotional response it inspires. It is without a doubt one of the most heartbreaking films ever made. Heavily sugared garbage like Marley And Me doesn't come anywhere close.
