Traumatic events during childhood are thought to be one of the main causes of dissociative identity disorder and although it was omitted from The Incredible Hulk, Ang Lees Hulk informed us that Bruce Banners father David wasnt exactly the nicest person. Not only did he pass on a genetic mutation to his son, he also tried to kill him in a fit of rage as a youngster and accidentally stabbed his wife and Bruces mother in the process (as you do). If that wont mess up a kid for life, we dont know what will.
