12 People Who Hated Working On DC Movies

12. Ryan Reynolds - Green Lantern

He might have found his groove now with Deadpool, but Ryan Reynolds has some pretty unwanted previous with comic book movies. In fact, for a long time, it looked like he was genre poison, having starred in Blade Trinity, RIPD, X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Green Lantern. That's hardly a good track record.

And it's a wonder he even tried again after having such a bad time with at least two of those movies. Or at least with the final products. He's spoken at length about Origins' failures, but over the years, he's also been open about the issues with Green Lantern.

Though he says it was the opportunity of a lifetime (and a chance to meet his wife), he also calls the experience frustrating, has lampooned the whole thing several times (including in Deadpool) and says the film-makers simply didn't know what they were doing:

"You really need a visionary behind a movie like that, but it was the classic studio story: "We have a poster, but we don't have a script or know what we want; let's start shooting!"
