11. Ben Affleck - Batman v Superman

After the whole experience working on Daredevil put him off the idea of working on superhero movies again for the rest of his career, Ben Affleck simply couldn't turn down the opportunity of a lifetime when he was offered the chance to play Batman for Zack Snyder. It's not as if a film called Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice could be anything other than incredible, right?

Sadly, the film is about as divisive as they come with massive criticisms aimed at most aspects of it - though Affleck's performance emerged as one of the few praise-worthy elements.

Affleck himself apparently wasn't happy though (hence the perpetual exploration of his mental state around playing Batman since then), believing it should have been better. And to think, he had to go through a motion capture process that he's said he hated just to be feel "humiliated" by the negative reviews (which stung particularly when he'd said it would be SO much better than Daredevil).
