Jordan Peele's captivating, horrifying, wickedly smart, nightmarishly disturbing yet intensely funny horror comedy is easily the definitive horror film of the 2010s. It's also notable for just how watertight it is; not a second is wasted, every detail enhances the story and the whole story comes together exceptionally well in Get Out's stunning final act... with one key exception.

The film centres around Chris (Daniel Kaluuya), who was gone with his white girlfriend to visit her family. After a series of strange happenings, Chris asks his girlfriend Rose (Allison Williams) if they can leave, and she agrees.

But then... while she's out of the room he finds a box of photos of her with other black people who have gone missing, revealing she's a part of the family's horrible conspiracy to use black people's bodies as vessels by transplanting the brains of their rich clients into the victims' heads. Chris is captured by the family moments later.

This entire scene is completely baffling. Why the hell would Rose have that big collection of photos (which could easily be used as evidence by investigators), and furthermore, why the hell would she leave it where her victim could so easily find it?

It's an inexplicably stupid moment in an otherwise ingenious movie.
