12 Predictions For Marvel's Mystery Phase 3 Movies In 2020

1. The Incredible Hulk 2

When Bruce Banner flew away in his comically small Quinjet towards Fiji and freedom from the guilt of the collateral damage every time he sneezes, it could have been taken in one of two ways. Either Banner was flying epically and mysteriously off into the sunset, bringing an end to his arc (until he needs to resurface), or it was starting something new and specific to Hulk alone.

Given that he's appearing in Thor: Ragnarok and looks like one of the most exciting parts of it, that latter suggestion looks more likely. Plus General Ross is back on the scene and he's hardly likely to let Hulk retire in peace when he returns. It's all set up rather nicely.

Likelihood

Oh we can only hope. The fact that Marvel seem to have made a public fuss about actually having the full rights to making a movie doesn't really fill the confidence meter, unless they're being deliberately evasive to distract from the truth. At this stage a Hulk solo movie is still an intriguing possibility rather than anything definite either way.

Which is why it's so interesting to speculate about.
