And forget your hipster ideas of cult (The Room is sh*t, it€™s not cult), this was the year that everyone who misrepresents cult should be directed towards. Even the biggest films of 1985 legitimately inspired cult fandom - Back To The Future, The Goonies, Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome€ there was no separation between blockbuster and cult. And then there was the likes of Clue, Perfect, Legend, Fright Night, The Breakfast Club, St Elmo€™s Fire, Silverado€ Seriously, it€™s a joke how many there are.
