12 Simple Fixes That Would Have Made Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Awesome

4. The Dinosaurs Escape By Force

The dinosaurs are freed from captivity at the end of the movie by Maisie, in a tremendously unsatisfying head-scratcher of a moment that awkwardly sets up the potentially bonkers sequel.

This is another aspect of the film that should've been simplified: there's no need for a clone child to free the dinos out of a sense of empathy. Why not just have the dinosaurs break free?

Sure, the holding pen is designed to prevent them from escaping, but perhaps the combined, desperate force of all these dinosaurs could eventually allow them to break the door down and flee?

After all, life finds a way, does it not? This would dispense with the weirdness of having Maisie essentially doom nearby humans to death, and instead leave it up to the dinos themselves to affect their own survival.
