11. Cutting Franklin Out Completely

By far the worst character in the movie is Franklin Webb (Justice Smith), the scaredy-cat techie who works for Claire's (Bryce Dallas Howard) Dinosaur Protection Group.

He spends most of his screen time talking about how dangerous everything is, screaming obnoxiously at the top of his lungs and basically having everyone wish he'd just get eaten already.

He adds virtually nothing to the narrative, or at least nothing that couldn't be given to other characters anyway.

He's a character annoying enough that he really should've been trimmed from the film before the script even got final approval. Removing him entirely would instantly improve things.
