1. Who F*cked Palpatine?

Who is Rey's grandmother? When was she impregnated?

Are we supposed to believe that the Emperor turned away from his all-consuming quest for power to conduct romantic relationships? If Palpatine's intention was to continue his legacy, it should surely have been set out properly as part of his plan. If his son was no more than an accident of his sexual dalliances, then that's all very confusing considering what we knew of Palpatine's earlier presence in the Original Trilogy.

It might seem like a casual throw-away concern, but it's hugely important, because it either makes Rey an intended asset of the Dark Side or it means Palpatine's entire plot to replace himself and continue his legacy was no more than an accident.
