12 Most Strongly Hinted Future Marvel Movies

3. Alpha Flight

Having first appeared in X-Men, the rights relating to superhero team Alpha Flight - the premium Canadian superhero ensemble - are somewhat cloudy. Fox have the rights to characters who frequently appear in the X-Men comics - and indeed included an Easter Egg reference to the team in X2 - but Alpha Flight could exist in the MCU the same way Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch will. Either way, the team would offer another ensemble with a different dynamic and the eye-catching prospect of bringing Sasquatch in as a character. The Evidence: Another trademark from the December pile, Alpha Flight could exist in the MCU without their official title, or they could be deemed enough of a stand-alone property to wade through the murky rights waters. It's perhaps not the most likely, but Canada deserves some more recognition in superhero terms. Maybe the Alpha Flight trademark is merely Marvel's attempt to firm up the rights around Big Hero 6 - the animated superhero movie that is upcoming, and which focuses on the team which first appeared in the pages of Alpha Flight.
