12 Talented Actors Who Just Made 3 Bad Movies In A Row

Since the second part of the final Hunger Games franchise was released, Jennifer Lawrence's work has been a little more patchy than you might have expected of someone so widely cherished for his acting. Joy was a slightly confusing misstep and X-Men: Apocalypse didn't really even land with X-Men fans on the whole.

In the same vein, her las three movies have been similarly underwhelming, starting with Passengers, which failed to take advantage of its excellent, charming cast. And then there was mother! - Darren Aronofsky's exercise in triggering as many people as possible. Not so much an enjoyable experience as an inescapable one of provocation, the thinly veiled messiah allegory is difficult to watch for far more reasons than the director necessarily intends.

Fundamentally, Lawrence is above all of those movies and hopefully she'll return to form soon.
