As fresh and irreverent as Deadpool mostly was, the primary antagonist was a major disappointment, with Franc-err...Ajax (Ed Skrein) being by far the most forgettable villain from any X-Men movie to date.

Aside from the jokes about his real name, can you remember anything at all about this painfully bland baddie? It's as though Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) used up all the available personality and Ajax was forced to be a total wet blanket as a result. Zzzzz.

Cause Of Death: Shot in the head by Deadpool while Colossus (Stefan Kapičić) is busy trying to convince 'Pool to spare his life in a "heroic moment."

The exasperated look on Ajax's face moments before Deadpool pulls the trigger suggests he was doing him a favour, honestly. Still, an hilarious and ironically memorable end for such a dud of a character.
