12 Terrible Movies That Killed An Actor's Winning Streak
2. Just My Luck - Lindsay Lohan
The Streak: Lindsay Lohan cemented her status as a teen idol with a string of hit films in the early-to-mid 2000s, beginning with Freaky Friday and continuing with Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Mean Girls and Herbie: Fully Loaded, before finishing up with the modestly successful (and critically acclaimed) Robert Altman movie A Prairie Home Companion.
The Film That Broke It: While Lohan's working with Altman suggested the end of her foray into frothy comedies, she made the mistake of returning to the genre for Just My Luck, co-starring Chris Pine before anyone knew who he was. The movie just barely made its budget back amid scathing reviews, and Lohan earned a Worst Actress Razzie nomination for her trouble.
