12 Things Fox Want You To Forget Before X-Men: Days Of Future Past

1. The Limits Of Kitty Pryde's Actual Powers

As we've already seen from the trailers, Kitty Pryde will play in a major part in the Days Of Future storyline, since it is she who sends Logan's mind back through the past. But since when could Kitty Pryde send minds back through time? When she was introduced in the first X-Men timeline in The Last Stand, it was fairly definitively established that she could phase through solid objects, and that her passing through certain objects - electrical ones - short-circuits them. At what stage during those films did Kitty forget that she could also niftily warp people through time into their own bodies at different points on the timeline? Might that not have been helpful in stopping catastrophic events like the death of Professor X, or Cyclops, or Jean Grey or something? It's like Superman suddenly being able to do amnesia kisses, or turn back time... Of course, you could blame everything on the fact that there are characters like Bishop and Cable out there merrily messing up the timeline as they see fit, but it's still going to be difficult to ignore all of the dropped balls once Days Of Future Past lands in cinemas later this month.
