9. The No Man's Land Scene Almost Didn't Happen - Wonder Woman

The Original Plan: When director Patty Jenkins first suggested Wonder Woman's iconic No Man's Land scene to Warner Bros. executives, they argued against its inclusion, asking, "What is she going to do? How many bullets can she fight?"

What Happened?: Jenkins eventually won out by presenting the studio with a full set of story-boards showing how the scene would play out, and how it was integral to the full formation of the titular superhero.

Did It Work?: It's by far the most memorable and talked-about scene from the movie, so it's an emphatic yes. It's depressing to even consider that Jenkins had to fight to get such a statuesque scene put before cameras, especially as it features some of the most emblematic imagery in the DCEU to date.
