12 Things We Definitely Know About Future MCU Movies

1. Infinity Won’t End The MCU

You might be forgiven for thinking something as huge as Infinity War will end the MCU entirely and send it back to a reset point. After all, the comic event involves a significant number of deaths and there ARE a lot of contracts coming up around that time for the primary players.

But that's absolutely not the case, even if Infinity War is an end to the current chapter, or an end to certain current aspects of the MCU, as Feige told SlashFilm:

"Well I think it definitely is an end to some version of the team that we’ve come to know as The Avengers. And I don’t know exactly whats going to happen yet in that film, but I think we start to hint at it at the end ofAvengers: Age of Ultron that the team will be evolving. And one of the things we loved in the comics is the rosters always changing and you could pick up a new issue of the comics ten years later and you don’t recognize the people on the cover. But the ideas and ideals that make The Avengers still exist, and I think thats part of what makes this culmination will be: we’re seeing this version of the team doing this thing to save this universe, this galaxy, however you want to put it, and we’ll see where this goes. So it's not the end of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it will be the end of part of it for sure. We’re still trying to sort out which parts."

Thank God for that.
