8. Rocket's Cowardice

While it’s been no secret that the beloved raccoon is more than a little put off at the idea of joining seemingly unwinnable fights, there’s been no better example of this than when the Guardians try to take down Thanos in. After shamelessly insisting that the team head to Nowhere to avoid fighting Thanos, Rocket is then the only member of the Guardians to not even try to fight Thanos, which is particularly telling for how much his fear for his own safety overrides anything else.

How this potential guilt will factor in to Rocket’s decisions in Endgame will be especially of interest, as of all the characters, Rocket has in theory lost the most: in both his team and his family.
