3. Milos Columbo Is A Criminally Underrated Sidekick
By far the coolest character in this film - aside from Bond himself, naturally - is Milos Columbo, the Greek smuggler who ultimately becomes Bond's trusty sidekick.
Getting there is a lot of fun, as Bond (and the audience) initially believes Columbo to be one of the movie's antagonists, but ultimately, he and his fleet of men are instrumental to 007's mission succeeding.
He's also a rare sidekick character to get the honour of killing the villain: when a captured Kristatos pulls a concealed knife to stab Bond, it's Columbo who hurls a knife in his back, saving the day.
It's a shame he wasn't brought back for more movies, honestly, because Columbo is easily one of this film's highlights: he's got a cool name, a suave accent and isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. He's basically Felix Leiter if Felix had some style.
