7. Draco Is A Total Creep

Tracy's father Marc-Ange Draco (Gabriele Ferzetti) is a sublimely offputting creep throughout this movie, and that'd be just fine if the movie actually thought so too.

Early in the film, Draco aggressively attempts to "sell" Tracy to Bond with a dowry of a million pounds, and though Bond insists that she actually needs professional help, Draco remains adamant that she "needs a man to dominate her". The easy cure for all psychological trauma, right?

Draco further asserts that he's aware of Bond and Tracy's sexual congress, and in the film's finale, even punches his own daughter in the face when she refuses to leave Blofeld's (Telly Savalas) compound without Bond. As if that's not weird enough, he follows up with the icky one-liner, "Spare the rod and spoil the child, huh?"

Sure, the guy is a gangster at the end of the day, but there's a clear disparity between how the film depicts him as a charming wheeler-dealer and the fact he's got some incredibly troubling perspectives on both women and being a parent. Ewww.
