Granted, this is likely to be a controversial opinion, but you know what? Telly Savalas is such a better Blofeld than his predecessor, Donald Pleasence (who played the part in You Only Live Twice).

Though a lot of fans are nostalgic for the long-awaited reveal of Pleasence's Blofeld, his neat facial scarring and Pleasence's outlandish performance, Savalas brings a far more eerie cool to the part, making Blofeld less of a cartoon character and more of an actual, imposing human being.

Sure, his plan is absolutely bonkers, but Savalas grounds it with his agreeably subdued performance, not to mention his intoxicatingly velvety voice. Plus, it doesn't hurt that he actually gets significant screen time, whereas Pleasence's Blofeld basically verges on being an extended cameo.
