Rewatching Skyfall in 2018, it becomes apparent that the Macau casino sequence had an enormous influence on the South Korea casino scene in the recent smash hit Black Panther.

The two scenes are incredibly similar visually and narratively - both exuding warm colours as our hero tracks down a lead and gets into a stylish scrap - and considering that Marvel boss Kevin Feige pitched Black Panther to director Ryan Coogler as a James Bond-inspired romp, it's actually not at all surprising.

Furthermore, Coogler also included a brief clip of Skyfall in his prior movie Creed, making it abundantly clear he's quite the fan of Bond's 23rd outing.

Still, to see him paying homage to such a recent Bond movie rather than going several decades back is pretty odd, even if both scenes are wonderfully executed on their own merits.
