The Justice League reboot has its villain. A supposedly leaked synopsis has recently started doing the rounds across the entirety of the internet reads: "The worlds greatest heroes are assembled to form the Justice League, to combat a threat beyond each individuals capabilities. The story involves Darkseid planning the destruction of Earth by blasting it with a ray thatll move Apokolips into the Earths place." This would certainly be a logical way to bring the super team together as it mirrors the New 52 comics origin of the Justice League. With his leadership style and militaristic leanings mimicking those of history's least favourite moustachioed dictator, Darkseid has of course attempted to invade pretty much everyone in DC's home turf. As is to be expected of a tactical leader, the god of Evil (as his Earth bound cult followers refer to him) rarely engages in combat unless he absolutely has to. All this despite being more than capable of going toe to toe with every member of the Justice League, up to and including Superman. There are very few villains that would pose a real threat to the entire Justice League and Darkseid is the only one that would provide both spectacle and plot intrigue enough to carry out a successful adaptation. Ruler of the planet Apokolips and zealously focussed on conquering the universe and getting rid of all that pesky free will people have, Darkseid is classed among the most powerful of the New Gods in DC's lore. He is also able to fire Omega Beams from his eyes and hands which have the ability to erase organisms from existence. Probably for the best if Batman and Supes set aside their differences to sort this one out. Do you agree with the list? Did we miss any villains that you can't wait to see?
