Release Date: December 18th 2015 A short while away in this galaxy right here, there will be a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions upon millions of voices will go quiet for a couple of hours before crying out (hopefully in joy) as the Force well and truly awakens. Usually, sentences like that should warrant the death penalty, but thats genuinely how Star Wars fandom feels right now. Were about to see the triumphant return of the original cast alongside exciting new heroes, villains and narrative intrigue, and theres a LITTLE BALL DROID!!!! Sorry, its so hard to remain focused. Why Should You Be Thankful? Its Star Wars. Its been ten years since the end of the second trilogy and fan appreciation has grown since to a sort of white noise level. And while George Lucas or anyone else could probably have made a terrible Episode 7 that focused only on Jar Jar Binks bumbling career in the Imperial Senate and it would still have made a billion, Disney are the right studio to take the franchise on. If nothing else they know that if they can make six more great films they can probably quite easily start financing their own Death Star with the profits.
