After its official teaser trailer premiered in early April, fans had plenty to say about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and, perhaps surprisingly, a good amount of it was quite positive.

Sneak peeks of the Death Star and a few old school Star Destroyers and the later confirmation that Darth Vader himself will be making an appearance somewhere along the line has fans abuzz, but of course there’s no pleasing everybody and a handful have had a thing or two to say about another female-fronted Star Wars film with Rogue One’s female lead Felicity Jones as outlaw Jyn Erso.

Announcements of reshoots, rumoured to be at the behest of Disney execs demanding levity be added to what director Gareth Edwards has in the past pitched as a dark war movie, have also had fans on edge fearing that Rogue One may be a watered down version of what the trailer promised. Though Edwards has been quick to reassure that reshoots were part of the original production plan, Star Wars fans will have to wait until mid-December to see how the first standalone addition to the Star Wars anthology fares.

Helen Jones hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
