11. Hellboy - Milla Jovovich

It might sound a little harsh to say that Milla Jovovich is hated, but her critical response since she graduated to leading lady status with Resident Evil back in 2002 has mostly ranked between poor and abject.

Hopefully, the chance to play the villain in Neil Marshall's Hellboy reboot will play to her strengths. She has an ethereal charm that probably works best when she's not on-screen for the entire movie and a supervillain role can offer the chance of lots of impact without a huge workload. Again, that probably suits her best.

Even though the trailer was a little uneven, there's reason to be excited about the new Hellboy - particularly in what David Harbour will bring as the titular character - and we can all hope that his charm can lead to good chemistry with Jovovich's baddie. Which would go some way to convincing everyone that she's capable of such things.
