8. Shadow Girl - Megan Fox

Megan Fox has legitimately been in a few good films and TV shows since she broke through, with New Girl, Jennifer's Body and This Is 40 standing out, but she can't seem to shake off the cloud of negativity that seems to follow her. If there's a list of the most hated actors published, she's usually somewhere around it (or at least suggested in the comments) and honestly, it's a little baffling.

Perhaps it's because of the perception that she was cast in Transformers for a reason that had nothing to do with her acting ability? Either way, she might have a chance to turn the tide a little with the upcoming Shadow Girl, a magic realist tale from Claudia Myers.

Set in a timeless metropolis, it follows Holly (Fox) who has faded to invisibility and must find her way back to her world. It sounds a lot more challenging than a lot of roles on her CV and it should at least offer an opportunity to act without her looks even coming into it.
