12 Upcoming Movies That Will Change Your Mind About Actors You Hate

7. 6 Underground - Dave Franco

Like his brother, Dave Franco is probably best considered an acquired taste. He's not really up there with the kind of presences that sell movies on their own, but he's been solid enough in the likes of The Disaster Artist and 21 Jump Street to prove he does have some ability. He's just a little... jarring? Perhaps it's just the likeness to his brother or the fact that he's mostly been cast as provocatively unlikeable characters?

That changed somewhat with The Disaster Artist, but he was somewhat over-shadowed by James' great, scene-stealing performance, so he could probably do with more opportunity to show off his dramatic chops and push his profile into more positive waters.

Luckily, he has Michael Bay's big money 6 Underground coming to Netflix, in which he'll star alongside Ryan Reynolds, Corey Hawkins and Ben Hardy. The streaming platform's captive audience should mean it's watched a lot and if he does well in it, you can probably expect a pick-up in how he's received.

Interestingly, he also has Zeroville on his upcoming CV, which is still sitting without a distributor but which could do wonders for himself, James Franco, Will Ferrell and Megan Fox.
