12 Villains Who Must Appear In Affleck's Batman Movie
11. Clayface
It's surely only a matter of time before a Batman film includes Clayface. He's one of the most beloved and over-looked comic book villains and his powers mean any number of stories would be possible. Crucially, he's also a villain who could actually account for the "multiple villains" label without any assistance from anyone else.
If Affleck chooses to adapt Hush - which would tie in with the establishing work in Batman v Superman around the death of Jason Todd - Clayface would automatically be required for a key role. Having him mimic the dead Jason Todd would also be a fun way of symbolically crushing the rumours that Drake is going to return from the dead.
It's curious that nobody has yet chosen to adapt Clayface into a film: he's a singularly cinematic character (even if his "true" form might be a little hard to render authentically), and he represents a type of villain Batman has never encountered on screen yet. That surely has to be a concern for Affleck in making his Batman film uniquely his own, right?
