Obviously, her continued involvement in the DC cinematic universe would require her not to be killed in Suicide Squad, but that should be the case anyway.

For David Ayer's film to set up a villain with powers so great and so grave that the only solution is to call in a team of supervillains as a last ditch effort to save the world, and then kill her off immediately is just lunacy. It robs her of her credibility as a threat, and it would be far smarter for her to be overcome internally by June Moone and be thrown into Asylum as a continued threat to Gotham.

That's not to say Enchantress needs to fight Batman in his stand-alone: it would arguably be better if she was shown still struggling with her identity crisis after the events of Suicide Squad, with even the Joker refusing to work with her. But tying the film to Suicide Squad in further ways would be
