12 Villains Who Must Appear In Affleck's Batman Movie

6. Man-Bat

If Affleck is genuinely setting up a film in which his Batman navigates his way through multiple set-pieces and a significant number of his familiar foes, he's going to need some creative diversity. Otherwise he could be faced with a situation where his action is dismissed as too samey and lacking dimensions.

The smartest solution would be to include a monster movie sequence to really shake things up. In Arkham Asylum, Grant Morrison used Killer Croc as his monster, but Suicide Squad has seen him reinvented, and it doesn't look like he'll come out of that movie alive. So the next best thing would be Man-Bat, who also represents an opportunity to give another fan favourite their long awaited chance in the sun.

He could be legitimately terrifying stalking Batman through Arkham Asylum and turning the hunter into the hunted: that's something we've not seen that could be a truly memorable sequence.
