12 Ways 2015 Movies Definitely Made You Dumber

3. You May Have Sat Through These Pointless Sequels

Despite each and every one of them looking mediocre at the very best, the following terrible sequels somehow made a solid bag of cash: Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, Ted 2, Terminator Genisys, Sinister 2, The Transporter Refueled and Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension. People in high volumes evidently went to see these movies and made them money, likely ensuring more sequels in most cases, at which point audiences are giving studios the message "more of the same generic mulch, please". You can thank China for the inevitable Terminator 6: the film made more than 25% of its total gross from the country. We all knew they were going to be bad, but a lot of us stepped out to see these rubbish follow-ups anyway, proving that we don't seem to be learning anything as an audience. Even a rat receiving an electric shock learns not to repeat harmful behaviours, and does anyone really want to see another Transporter movie starring Ed Skrein?
