7. The Academy’s New Illuminati Logo

The very same year that Daniel Day-Lewis payed homage to Illuminati pyramids in his acceptance speech for Best Actor, the Academy unveiled its brand new logo ahead of the forthcoming 86th awards ceremony in 2014. Bet you can’t guess what shape it is? It’s only a bloody triangle.

According to the Academy’s marketing team, the new logo is supposed to mimic both a spotlight shining downwards and the shape of the letter A. Oh, okay Academy, it’s just mere coincidence that both those things are triangle shaped – the Illuminati’s geometric form of choice – then? Please.

The Academy’s then chief marketing officer stated the logo was designed to reflect its ‘community of artists, their diverse talents, and the creative process they employ to bring disparate ideas together into a single vision’. Community of artists? Did you mean ‘brainwashed underlings’?

We weren’t born yesterday, you bunch of shape-shifting Illuminati sympathizers.
