Knocked Up is the story of stoner Ben (Seth Rogen) and career girl Alison (Katherine Heigl) who, after a drunken one night stand, find out they are expecting and despite their obvious differences decide to give their relationship a go. Its been described as funny, poignant and one of the best romantic comedies in years, but to anyone with half a brain its a cautionary tale about not getting so drunk that you forget to use contraception. And although the film has a typically twee ending and they all live happily ever after, as anyone who has seen The Jeremy Kyle Show will tell you, pregnancies resulting from one night stands usually dont have the happiest of endings.
