10. Ultron Invades Wakanda - Avengers: Age Of Ultron

The story of Avengers: Age Of Ultron's production is one fraught with tension - particularly between Joss Whedon and his Marvel Studio paymasters. Apparently, the parties clashed over the sequel's direction and the director was forced to compromise on lots of his plans - including a couple of scenes he REALLY wanted to get in there.

At one point during the story's development, the Vibranium that Ultron needed to upgrade his body would have come from Wakanda, as opposed to being traded with Ulysses Klaue. Concept art was drawn up that showed a gorgeous Wakandan mine, where Ultron was supposed to go to forge his new body.

Ultimately, it would probably have been too much of a diversion for the sake of a beautiful but short sequence, so it's probably for the best that it didn't make it into the final film.
