Why It Could Happen: If the filmmakers want to continue to give Bond an actress his own age, they couldn't do much better than the lovely Danish actress Connie Nielsen, who has proven her sure cinematic grit in the iconic Gladiator, and her undeniable sex appeal in Lars von Tier's controversial Nymphomaniac. She keeps pretty busy these days, but she could surely open up a slot in her schedule for Bond. As for who she'd play, maybe a steely government agent? Why It Might Not: It's trite to say again, but it depends on whether or not having Bellucci in Spectre was a one-off novelty. She'd undeniably sizzle opposite Craig, but if shooting doesn't begin until probably late 2017, she'll be 52 by that point, making her older than Bellucci and probably not a number the Bond producers would like to see continually rising. How Likely Is It?: She'd kill it with the right part, but there's seemingly not much demand to write parts for women in their 50s in this franchise... unless she ended up playing a new M-like mentor character, perhaps removed from any sense of sexual tension with Bond (which, given how gorgeous Nielsen is, would be tough to believe). 3/10
