13 Awesome Movies To Watch This Summer (Which Aren't Blockbusters)
1. Baby Driver

The Plot: Supernaturally-skilled getaway driver Baby (Ansel Elgort) plans to quit the criminal life and hit the road with his waitress girlfriend Deborah (Lily James), but his crime boss employer, Doc (Kevin Spacey), isn't quite so keen for someone so talented to leave.
Why It's Going To Be Awesome: It's Edgar Wright's latest movie, so you know you're in for something special, in what looks to be a gloriously over-the-top, stylistically audacious action flick with his most Hollywood cast yet (Jon Bernthal, Jon Hamm and Jamie Foxx also star).
Early reviews from SXSW are rapturous, praising Wright's direction as his most brilliantly fearless, with many comparing it favourably to the Fast and the Furious movies, while the performances and Wright's musical selections have also been widely lauded.
It may not have the monstrous budgets of the summer's biggest movies, but with Wright in the driver's seat, it's going to make mincemeat out of most (if not all) of them regardless.
