13 Awkward Moments That Must Have Happened After The End Of Famous Movies

5. David And Elise Realise They Know Nothing About Each Other - The Adjustment Bureau

Universal Pictures

The Actual Ending: An interesting film that really stumbled in its last twenty minutes, The Adjustment Bureau probably didn€™'t make as big an impact as it could thanks to treading the middle ground between action-drama and cerebral sci-fi. After a Monsters Inc. aping chase through New York the plot - Matt Damon and Emily Blunt can'€™t be together due to bureau-defined destiny - is blindsided by love; they can be together.

The Awkward Moment: This is something that will happen after many films and has even been ridiculed through the ending from Speed I used in the intro, but given how integral €˜love€™ is to the plot here TAB is the best example to use. Throughout the film, Damon'€™s Dave is driven by a couple of chance encounters with Blunt€™'s Elise to keep tracking her down, convinced it'€™s love. There'€™s a bit of forbidden fruit to it and the two do have chemistry, but come the end they actually don'€™t know that much about each other.

Which'€™ll cause potential problems when they move beyond the €œ"you€'™re pretty and I€™'ll give my life in face of an all powerful force for you"€ phase into an actual relationship. One morning one of them'€™ll wake up and question whether looks and a silly hat will keep them together forever.
