7. Quinlan Vos

In Episode III, when Obi-Wan summarises the progress of the Outer Rim Sieges to Anakin he states "Master Vos has moved his troops to Boz Pity". To the uninitiated it sounds like typical Lucas mumbo-jumbo, but to die-hard Star Wars fans it rounds off a trilogy-long character development.

In the Expanded Universe Quinlan Vos is one of the most developed Jedi Knights, with the Revenge Of The Sith reference showing some George Lucas recognition. But the character had been in the films previously; his look was based off an extra in the scene where Sebulba attacks Jar Jar (he's the guy with the yellow stripe on his face). Whether or not this is actually Vos is undecided in the fandom, but if it is it's a little dickish of him to not to say hello to fellow Jedi Qui-Gon.
