13 Biggest Mistakes The Batman Movies Ever Made

1. Justice League - "Yeah, Something's Bleeding"

Not unlike its predecessor Batman V Superman, there's a whole lot that can be said about Justice League, and not much of it's good. While it more or less succeeds in being more fun than director Zack Snyder's first two DC efforts (the first, of course, being Man of Steel), there's no denying it has an extremely haphazard feel.

This, perhaps, was inevitable given that a substantial portion of Justice League was reshot by Joss Whedon. And, as has been widely argued elsewhere, those reshoots stick out like a sore thumb. Not only do they look flat and lifeless by comparison with the rest of the movie (say what you will of Snyder, but there's no denying he's a great visual stylist), but also the reshot scenes are overflowing with pointedly glib Whedon dialogue.

The callback to Batman V Superman's "do you bleed?" is one of the most pointed of these moments. This time around, the resurrected (and momentarily insane) Superman asks this of Batman before opening a can of Kryptonian whoop-ass, and moments later, a winded Batman replies, "yeah, something's bleeding."

Under different circumstances, this might have been quite a funny exchange, but here it just feels symptomatic of the forced efforts to make Justice League cheerier than previous DC movies, and to make it - well - more like The Avengers.

Even so, it's hardly the worst offender when it comes to pointless dialogue in Justice League. Really now, what the hell was the point of The Flash's rant about brunch...?
