The Theory: The plot primarily revolves around Luke Skywalker's (Mark Hamill) severed hand, which floats through space, still clutching a light saber, and lands on a desert planet where it is located by Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Finn (John Boyega), who then attempt to return it to its owner. Why It Could Be True: It's another one of those "so crazy it just might be true" rumours, and it was originally reported by the relatively reputable Badass Digest. Plus, other information divulged in that report (such as Boyega's role) has subsequently proven to be true. Why It's Probably Not: Still, it sounds incredibly silly, and not the sort of plot smart filmmakers would risk banking such a vital new movie on. Plus, how has the hand not rotted in three decades?
