6. Lou's Killer Is... Himself - Hot Tub Time Machine 2

The Theory: The man who mortally wounds Lou (Rob Corddry) in the present is another version of himself. Why It Could Be True: For starters, there's an overwhelmingly obvious (and hilarious) reference to it in the first movie, when Lou says, "If I wanted to kill myself, I'd f***ing kill myself. I'd be awesome at it. A shotgun to the d***"." This, of course, is exactly what happens to him in the second movie, so it'd be amusingly poetic if, for some reason, Lou decided to take himself out just as he said he would. Why It's Probably Not: It's incredibly obvious for starters, to the point that people noticed its potential months ago and, by the time the movie actually releases next month, everyone will be expecting it. Funny though it would be, hopefully the big surprise isn't up already.
