5. Knox - Death Wish

No matter how you feel about Bruce Willis making a Death Wish remake (or how convinced you are of him being able to play a doctor authentically), it's happening and there are a few certainties to expect. The first is that it'll be a fairly straight remake, with Willis' doctor turning to vigilanteism in vengeance for his wife's murder and a brutal attack on his daughter.

The second is violence. There's no way this film goes quietly into the night - the whole point of it is to be a John Wick-style ballet of vengeful violence, and given what drives Willis' character, you have to imagine that it's bad news for his enemies.

That includes Beau Knapp's chief villain Knox, who will no doubt have a target on his back and who will feel the full brunt of Willis' righteous anger. He has to die (not just for the hero's own agenda, but for the good of the city, which is a big part of the narrative too), so don't get too close to him.
