13 Comic Book Villains That Movies Ruined Worse Than Dr Doom

10. Juggernaut (X-Men: The Last Stand)

One major change that angered a lot of X-Men fans was that the movie Juggernaut (Vinnie Jones) is simply a mutant, whereas in most of the core comics, his momentum-based powers are mystical, attained from the Cyttorak Ruby. This is just one aspect of what's wrong with the character: he's really only a mutant to make things simpler, so that he can be taken out of the movie when Leech (Cameron Bright) temporarily saps his mutant powers later on. Casting is also a problem here: Jones is hilariously miscast and practically impossible to take seriously in the role, made worse by the fact that he's made to utter the cringe-worthy "I'm the Juggernaut, b****!" one-liner as an ill-advised nod to the very same Internet meme. The worst thing is that, overall, a totally bada** comic character was essentially transformed into an ineffectual running joke.
