10. Rushing Out A Justice League Movie Before Batman V Superman

The Pitch: Before Batman v Superman was even conceived, Warner Bros. heavily favoured the idea of following up Man of Steel with a Justice League movie to be rushed into production for a 2015 release in order to compete with Avengers: Age of Ultron. What Happened?: Warner basically saw sense and a) didn't try to compete with Marvel and b) realised that rushing a Justice League movie out before establishing these characters first was a terrible idea. As such, a (hopefully) better thought-out Justice League movie will be coming along in 2017, after Batman v Superman has introduced the principal characters and pretty much set the stage for the film. To see such a great movie concept thrown away on a hurried 2015 Man of Steel follow-up would've been a huge mistake, and an obvious attempt to try and short-cut their way to taking on Marvel. Patience is the key here.
